
The new CREDIT LINK website starts with the MAIN PAGE where we have incorporated three sections of services into one easy to navigate site. The following explains what we have added and how to use it:
1. Trade Credit Reports
When you click on this menu selection you will go to our standard look-up screen. After entering your look-up criteria (phone and/or name/zip) you will come to the selection “match” screen. Though the selection process has not changed it is important to remind you to please SELECT ALL OF THE ACCOUNTS THAT YOU WANT INCLUDED ON THE REPORT TO AVOID DUPLICATE BILLING. All of the selections made at this time will be billed as one report. If you select one to view/print then go back to select another you will be billed separately for each.
One of the most important new features is the integration of the HOT LINK data into Credit Link. When you view the report you will notice a new field under the Credit Link # heading on the top left hand side of each account you have selected. It will appear as either:

When you see
click on it to view HOT LINK postings that have been
made for this account. Please make sure to page down to see if HOT LINK information exists
on all of your account selections. There
is no additional charge for HOT LINK information.
When the Credit Link Report is on your screen you can save it easily to a local hard drive by clicking on the “File” selection (usually in the top left hand corner) in your browser and choosing “Save As”. You can rename the file with your account number or some other identification that can be used to recall it at a later time.
2. HOT LINK
To make a HOT LINK posting you must be a full, data-sharing member. After clicking on “Post A Hot Link” you will next enter your customer number. Please note that we do not import inactive accounts (no activity in past two years) into the Credit Link data-base so it is possible that in some rare instances your account number will not be accepted. If this happens just click on the Customer Service button and follow the instructions.
To complete your posting just follow the on-screen instructions. After making a HOT LINK posting it is possible to go back to edit, change or retract the information, see “Review Postings” section below.
By clicking on “Current Postings” you can see all of the HOT LINK postings that have been made in the past two weeks (we have expanded this to one month initially). If a posting has been made for an account that includes a customer of yours on the CREDIT LINK report then it will appear in a separate section at the top of the Current Postings with your account number. By clicking on “REPORT” you can go directly to the selection “match” screen.
There is NO CHARGE for viewing/printing Current Postings but you will be charged the standard fee for any Credit Link reports selected.
In this section you get the opportunity to review all of the HOT LINK postings that your Company has made. If you do make a change it will appear with the Current Postings.
3. Collection Services
We have also added a section for Collection Services. Our Credit Notice demand letter can be ordered on-line (try it, it really works). And accounts can be placed for collection with House Of Adjustments, Inc. You can click on each selection to get detailed information on the specific service.
